We have a position open for a Software QA Lead experienced in manual testing and have exposure/ or experience with automated test tools. The successful candidate must be excited about quality, able to function independently, and willing to work in other areas of Quality Assurance as necessary. Experience working with an Agile development methodology and web-based applications is a plus. Previous testing experience and understanding of Best Practices and principles of testing are required for this position.

Duties and responsibilities
8+ years of experience writing automated tests in Java and using automation frameworks (Selenium, WebDriver)
Experience in Object oriented programming languages (JAVA)
Experience with performance Testing using JMeter.
Sound knowledge of SE/SDLC/STLC/Agile, test/QA methodology & processes, and concepts
Experience in Agile methodology with a focus on continuous integration
Experience using AI based automation tools is good to have
Hands-On experience in REST API Testing & automation, REST-Assured is good to have
Experience using Bug tracking systems such as JIRA, documenting test cases and composing clear and repeatable bug/issue reports.
Knowledge of CSS / HTML and scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python is an advantage
Great QA abilities: analytic approach, good problem solving and creativity, broad scope, assertiveness, passion.
Record and track defects through tools
Assist Managers in preparing quality guidelines, checklists, and templates to improve the quality of the products and the processes.
Should be able to take ownership and drive end to end testing activities.
Additional Duties:
Script for improving process efficiency in areas such as infrastructure management, configuration management, etc.
Assist engineering team in troubleshooting or resolving scalability/performance issues across products.
Prepare/Suggest “Key Lessons Learned” documents to improve the quality of the products.
