Head of Marketing

Position Overview: As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. You will lead a dynamic marketing team, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and leverage innovative marketing strategies to achieve business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of marketing trends, and a proven track record of successful campaign execution.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.

Marketing Initiatives and Campaign Management:

Manage acquisition programs through various channels: Offline events, SEM, online media, affiliates, social media, re-targeting, Content marketing

Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, traditional, events, etc.)

Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Develop and maintain acquisition performance dashboard and forecast

Brand Management:

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all channels.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring they are adhered to by the marketing team and external partners.

Digital Marketing:

  • Drive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Stay abreast of digital marketing trends and emerging technologies.

Account Based Marketing:

  • Drive account-specific marketing plan aligned to sales strategies for account appropriate offerings.
  • Engage the target audience within the account and develop an execution plan to increase awareness, reputation, and consideration for KNOLSKAPE's solutions and services.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure campaigns are executed within budget constraints.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with sales, product development, and other departments to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Foster strong communication channels between marketing and other teams.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the executive team.

Vendor Management:

  • Evaluate and manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and marketing service providers.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with key stakeholders, including executives and partners, to align marketing strategies with broader business goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's/Master’s degree from a top school in a quantitative discipline such as Marketing/Digital Marketing

Experience or strong interest in a fast paced startup environment

Experience with best practices in marketing, measurement, and reporting

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Familiarity with online analytic tools

Independent thinker that is self-driven and comfortable with ambiguity

Organized, detail-oriented and able to set and meet realistic deadlines

10 years of well- rounded marketing  experience in positions of increasing responsibility, with a focus on marketing expansion and identifying emerging market trends.

Should have proven experience in running integrated marketing campaigns (IMC) and should have had global experience as well.

Well- proven experience in Content marketing, Event marketing, Digital marketing and PR.
